Owen is a 21 year old GT Racing Driver, with a passion for racing and teaching the skills that allow young drivers and keen amateurs to improve their track racing performance. His journey in racing started at an early age, racing competitively from the age of 6 years old. Karting up until he was 14, he won numerous races and achieved podium finishes, culminating in winning the Junior Subaru Karting Championship.
Owen’s significant success to date is underpinned by incredible support and mentoring by family and friends. He has been brought up in a great working family - by his Dad who runs a small building company, and his Mum, an NHS Nurse.
They have made enormous sacrifices to support his career, and they ensure he stays humble and keep his feet firmly on the ground! Both have taught him the value that if you work hard then all your goals and dreams can be achieved. This all culminated in an unbelievable opportunity to be a part of the Motorsport UK Academy for up and coming professional racing drivers, the DisE Programme - a 2 year course which Owen passed, allowing him to move up the to their Academy Futures Programme, aimed at individuals that have a future in motorsport as a driver.
Owen is a qualified racing driver instructor, working to instruct people to drive around race circuits, providing experience days, as well as coaching budding racing drivers to help them to develop their skills and to improve their performance out on track at whatever level they aspire to.
